The Joshua Mikel Memorial Fund was established in memory of a premature infant born and lost to an undisclosed victim of a violent sexual assault. Joshua Mikel died from the fatal condition of anencephaly, and his remains were donated for study.

Process
Undisclosed Recipients will be privately chosen and given available funds on March 26 each year as long as moneys are available. Funds are recommended to be used for medical, legal, or counseling services, or any other worthy expenses deemed appropriate to the healing process by the executors of the funds and the recipient or guardian(s) of the recipient. If an individual recipient cannot be located, the available funds will be donated to a local Crisis Intervention Service.
